This is a powerful combination on paper, but seven days is tight. Treat it as a framework to discuss with operators. Ask whether a longer trip would produce a better safari or whether you would be better served by focusing on one country.

Understand the handoff

Kenyan and Tanzanian vehicles generally do not simply continue across the entire route. Your proposal should explain the border transfer, luggage movement, guide handoff and total travel time.

Consider adding two nights

Nine or ten nights gives both the Mara and Serengeti more substance. If seven days is fixed, compare the cross-border route against a deeper Tanzania-only itinerary before deciding.
